Elder College Delta has become a self sustaining, community based volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing life long learning and personal growth through a relaxed approach where no prior experience is necessary.
The courses are short, stimulating with no pressure and no exams.

All of the instructors are also volunteers, experienced in their respective fields. ECD is a member of the Canadian Network for Third Age Learning. Typical Courses offered are: Computers, Art, Literature, Languages, Opera, Psychology, Science, Current Affairs, Social Issues, Gardening and much more.

Semesters are in the Spring (April-May) and Fall (October-November). There is a nominal annual membership fee and modest individual course fees. Prior to each semester, watch the local papers for information and the libraries for brochures for current courses being offered.

Over 600 mature students have enjoyed the benefits which ECD has to offer. To remain fully functional, we continue to seek the support of our community and corporate sponsors. We need volunteers.
